Sunday inspiration- 2 Red Bananas

Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.  -Nathaniel Hawthorne

Happy Sunday morning friends. There have been a few stray snowflakes falling this morning, and thankfully it looks like they won’t amount to much!

If you’re looking for a quick Sunday project, 2 Red Bananas has their Sunday challenge posted, here is my take. I don’t think I would have used these colors together, and I kind of like the results.
 JBP2009

That to-do list. I am keeping my to-do list for the week small and within reach again. In the next 2 weeks we have three major exams, and I need to concentrate on studying. So here’s what my to-do list is going to look like for this week:

{re}create my resume
create a cover letter
graduation invitation list
hair/eyes
schedule photos

I’m still doing searches in an attempt to plan out our vegetable garden this season and found Urban Homesteading, very inspiring!! I would love to be able to donate fresh fruits and vegetables to our local homeless shelter…and I have decided that we will plant a few extra plants specifically for that reason. If you are able to have a vegetable garden, I hope that you will consider donating some of your fresh goodies also.

Well, Sunday is moving quickly pass me, and I need to get myself motivated and moving. Two reminders:

1. Tomorrow I’ll be posting a great goodie prize that you may not want to miss out on and 2. This is the final week for Designer applications. If you are interested in being a Designer on a weekly sketch blog, there are 4 available openings. If interested send an email to me — jennyperkins AT myfairpoint DOT net Please put Sketch DT in the subject. Please specify if you are a scrapbooker or rubberstamper or both. A link to your blog and one of your  most recent creations {a card or a layout} Announcements will be made here on Saturday, March 28th. I hope you’ll share this with your friends.}

    I love the shaped edges of your card, and the bold splashes of color amid the black and white of the text. Fun card!

    This is such a fun card!! I love the colors.. I normally don’t put red and yellow together (looks like one of those loan shark buildings).. BUT YOUR CARD IS GREAT!! It all works so well together!!
