Sunday Ramblings…

Everyday Life,Oliver,RN Journey | Sunday 3 May 2009 7:16 pm

Oliver is settling into our home perfectly, and has stolen all of our hearts, well, accept for Pyro’s. Pyro hasn’t warmed up to Oliver just yet, but atleast the growling has simmered down. Our other cat, Shiva, looks at him as if to say don’t forget who the boss is and we’ll be fine buddy.

Well, they say all good things come to an end. And tomorrow is the absolute end of my journey thru Nursing School. Final exam in Psych and all I can do is my personal best and pray that I pass. The thought of repeating Psych is just not an option for me as I am mentally, physically, and emotionally drained, and just want my life back. I hope that you will say a prayer and give me the extra boost of strength that I need…

My house is in total disarray, as my middle son who moved out in January found himself in a situation where I asked him to move back home, and offerred him my sunroom {aka: art studio}, so that him and his brother could have their own room and space. Today the boys took the extension out of the diningroom table to make it smaller, and began moving a few things into the diningroom. I am going to make a dash to Walmart tomorrow after my exam for some more plastic storage totes so I can pack up a lot of the collections that I have and store them in the attic for the time being. Not sure how I am going to get all of my scrapbook/rubberstamp supplies situated into the diningroom, but I’ll make the best of it. So tomorrow and Tuesday I’ll be busy moving things around…which equals every room in the house will look like a tornado touched down per usual.

Wednesday is my last Med Surg clinical at the hospital and Sharon is flying in from Florida to attend my pinning and graduation and so we can play.

Well the night is ticking by and I want to do a few more minutes of reading, so until later…
