I’ve made it thru Chapter 7 of Twilight. Slow going I know, and as much as I want to read it, I have so much that I am attempting to get accomplished around the house, and …. for the first time in weeks/months, I haven’t had insomnia. [insert huge wahooo here]

Going thru some some ideas this morning to mail to Toni for her wedding centerpieces, I reached into the secretary and came across this handwritten recipe that is easily 20 years old, written out for me by my first, mother in law, Mary. Mary made this cake for our birthdays every year. Feeling sentimental, I thought this would make a wonderful Project 365 photo for today.

I was blessed to have Mary as my mother in law. I miss her. I am angry that breast cancer took her away from my three children so soon.

Well friends, I am going to find my way into the kitchen for dish duty and kick back with Twilight…
