Hello friends, and new friends! I am so happy to be a part of the Adornit Blog Hop.
For those of you who are new to This Everyday Life, my name is Jenny and I live in the beautiful, wet state of Maine. I am momma to three young adults, one Princess and two guys, Toni, Reggie and Matthew, and married to Keith. I’m also momma to the most adorable little minature schnauzer, Oliver. I just recently graduated from Nursing school, and unfortunately am waiting to take the NCLEX for the second time. [insert huge humiliation and tears here].
I was a happy scrapbooker, or so I thought, until my bestfriend Sharon sent me a rubberstamp and an ink pad a number of years ago [I still have the rubberstamp!!], and since that day I have fallen in love with adding rubberstamps to my scrapbooking. As of the past few years I have found I do much better creating mini albums and quick projects, and that leads me to my Adornit Blog Hop project. I chose to create a mini album with photos of the flowers in the flower garden in the front of my house and the flowers on my back deck. Acrylic paint, patterned paper and a paper punch, and I am very pleased with the end results…My Summer Favorites…

I hope that I have inspired you to sit down and create a quick project!! I also hope that you will visit Adornit and join in on Blog Hopping to see all of the other Summer Favorites creations. Follow this Direct Link.
I’m going to turn my Summer Favorite post over to Jennie Ingman at Pappersverk
I’ll be back later today with my Project 365 photo, and some ramblings. Don’t forget, Saturday morning is the new sketch at Unscripted Sketches! Here’s to a beautiful day!!

This is so pretty! And those photos -wow! Your flowers are gorgeous!
Beautiful album! I recognize many of the pictures from your blog but put together in an album they are just stunning.
Keep the sun out all week for me please, I don’t want to visit a rainy Maine!
I have something for you at my blog here.
Hopped around the “Adorn it” blog hop this morning. So glad I did! Your book is wonderful and I would have missed it not knowing you. I love how you continued your photo’s on both pages. I’ll have to try that!
Great and beautiful book…your flowers are amazing. Thanks to Jeni B. for the “hop” notification. Much appreciated Jeni!
So Jenny…you have a wonderful day on the “east” coast..and I’ll enjoy mine here out West. P.S. Oliver is a doll…:o) Great photo.
Lots of great garden pics featured in the hop. Good luck on the re-take of your NCLEX exam. I have been an RN in Michigan for about 15 years now, and I havn’t forgotten taking the test, it can be pretty scary. Just be thankful you will never have to take it asgain.

BEAUTIFUL JENNY!!! I looove how you split the images on the pages! coolio!
wow – your work is amazing!!
Jenny what a beautiful little book!! I love how you used the little photos, and the large close ups!! Can you tell me where you got the metal frame on the cover of the book? I got several of those in a SB kit I bought on QVC about 7 or 8 years ago. But I don’t remember the name of the company that made them, and I have never seen them ANYWHERE else. I have hoarded them as much as I could, but am down to my last one:0(
Oh, love the way you cut your photos to cover more than one page! Beautiful pics!
