Unscripted, Project 365 & GOodies

Hello Saturday!! Much to ramble about and share with you.

Today brings us to Sketch #17 at Unscripted Sketches. I had some trouble with the sketch and decided to go with an 8×8 layout. It’s hard to make out, but I printed the image in black and white and color. With the color photo I punched out one of the flowers with a circle punch then pop dotted it onto the black and white.

Keith woke me up this morning telling me there was a few yardsales closeby. Up, showered and out the door with Oliver in tow. Thankfully at our second yardsale we ran into Keith’s mom and she reminded us that the Legion was having their yardsale today…so we went over and found some wonderful treasures. The sadness of Keith’s dad not being there was evident, and I am sure there were a lot of people thinking about Peter today…I know Keith and I were.

Last month I shared a photo of some dishes that I had picked up at an Antique store for an outdoor place setting. I was pretty excited when I saw these in front of me this morning!! I had none of these pieces!!

I reached into a box and found these.

Keith and his sister wonders if they were either their mothers or their Mimi’s.

The books were fill a bag for $1.00. I probably could have found a lot more if I’d stayed a little longer.

Project 365 photo today…taking advantage of a day without rain with a bbq.

Well friends, I’ve made a bit of a mess deep cleaning some drawers and cupboards, so for here I am going to run along to take care of that mess. I hope your Saturday has been a beautiful one!

Good thing your comment link is at the top because that made me look at your project again which a I really, truly like. (Especially how you did the photo) But once I went down to the part where you said “outside place setting” I was a goner.

Oh-my-gosh!!! I have never thought to have dishes just for outside. What a fabulously wonderful reason to have another pattern or 2. I love, love, love dishes–even melamine! And so far have managed to limit myself but you may have just started something. And I apologize in advance if my husband comes looking for you! :)
