Another lazy day here today. Keith, Oliver and I went for a ride to look at some houses.

This first house at one time was a General Store owned by Keiths grandparents, called HK Perkins Grocery in Sandy Point. Keith and his parents lived above the store for a number of years.
His parents then bought this home and Keith lived most of his childhood here on the Muskrat Road, in Prospect.

Keiths Mimi and Bampi’s home in Sandy Point. When Keith and I were looking for a home to buy his grandparents home was for sale. We chose our home here in Bucksport so the kids would be close to school, activities etc, we so wish that we had bought his grandparents home.

and finally a trip to Winterport to Keiths Nana and Bampi’s home which was a working dairy farm many years ago.

Interestingly our home is pretty close to the same color and our front door is painted the similar color as his Nana and Bampi’s. Made us smile.
Well, that was our day trip today. I hope you enjoy looking at these beautiful homes. It was fun hearing some wonderful memories from Keith of his childhood days.
