Happy Sunday friends. I won’t be putting together my typical Sunday post. Instead, it is going to be total ramblings and a few link shares.
When we bought our home it was described as a Colonial. For all the years we have lived here I have questioned if it was a colonial because it just didn’t look like a colonial to me. I’ve been doing searches related to front porches as I have decided that I would really like to have a front porch built onto our home [can you picture all of the vintage goodies decorating the area?], well surprise! My house is NOT a colonial. It is actually The American Four Square, and fits the description perfectly, and looks similiar to the description!! Not bad, only took 9 years to figure out the real architectural name of my home!! But, I am a bit pissy that the front porch was a big part of the Four Square homes, and mine does not have one. So, because I’ve spent so much time researching my house today, here is my Project 365 photo for today.

A few more hours and the house will be completely painted. New stairs and the cement walkway needs to be dug up for a new stone walkway, and we’re getting there…almost!
And you think your family is a bit odd? Thank goodness for Awkward Family Photos to set the record straight that we are not alone!!
Oh…I am having beautiful vintage dreams!! Imagine living close to the World’s Largest Yardsale!! 654 miles of vintage, shabby goodies begging to come to my home. I can totally picture Sharon and I trekking thru the world’s largest yardsale, and imagine the photo ops!!
Good grief! Martha Stewart has done it again!! I am so ordering this Loop Punch.
Well friends, this weekend is coming to a close and I think I’ll do the same thing. Here’s to a beautiful week ahead of us filled with love, happiness and tons of productivity!! Until tomorrow–

Love your house, it’s beautiful! I’m so with you on wanting a porch, at least once a year I say the same thing to Dave about mine. Sooo want a rocking chair on the front pawch….
I’ve ALWAYS wanted to go to the world’s largest yard sale, my mom and I would have a blast (with you and Sharon of course!). I am lucky to have two small porches (one side, one front) that allow me to have many containers of flowers. If only I could keep them alive! Here’s hoping you get your porch someday.
