Hello, and Happy Thursday friends!!

I made a trip to Borders this afternoon to purchase a book to help me figure out this Statistics stuff. In a previous post, Carrie commented

love your pink calculator – statistics SUCKS (i know, i took advanced stats and felt like i needed therapy when it was over LOL)

I’m thinking I am going to need extensive therapy, and of course looking at all of the different Statistics books to choose from didn’t help! Oh, the decisions!!

And here is what I brang home…

This Week’s Inspire Me Thursday Theme is: Chair and I am going to use this photo for my Project 365 today also.

This chair is in my hallway, and I am embarrassed to admit that it is typically overflowing with my stuff. Usually there will be a couple of my sweatshirts hanging off it, books, and recent purchases…

Thrift Store Friday…I actually picked these 5 cabinet cards up at the Antique Store the other day. At $4.50 for all five, I couldn’t resist, and I have a project idea for them. The three women all graduated from the same college in 1908. There was no information on the other two.

Looking at the Sky Friday. Perfectly clear sky outside my front steps tonight.

It’s been a busy day and unfortunately I need to pull myself together and put my nose into a textbook before this night comes to an end. Before I close, I do want to thank each of you who visit my blog, and take the time to leave such kind and thoughtful comments.

Here’s to a beautiful, beautiful tomorrow!

These graduates of 1908 are an inspiration – few women were allowed to attend college it seems in those days. Yet they persevered and graduated against all odds. Our daughter is a senior in college, and we think that it is the norm these days, But not so before…

The sky is not ablaze, and not so blue. But this sky is one of a nice day, a quiet and pleasant time in the sky. Nice!

Wow, the photos are cool! Don’t you wonder about those people…who were they, what became of them, what did those trail-blazing women do with their degrees?
    Thank you for joining TST!

I really like the pictures, I see them everywhere but can never think of anything great to do with them – I’m excited to see what you come up with!

Do you have fibro. too? I just talked to 2 elementary school mom friends that deal with it. We all 3 compared stories and had some same effects and some unique.

I loved your cluttered photo of the CHAIR! Great to meet another ‘thrift shop addict!’ In England we call them Charity shops and I am there as much as I can be. LOVE finding things I didn’t know I needed! Must go and do my IMT chair now

Love the women who graduated college, my great-grandmother graduated college in 1910 and was the only person in her town to do so for a long time.

Sorry about the statistics, it was one of my least favorite college classes.

Pretty sky you have there, ours is overcast and gloomy today.

The three graduating women look so regal! If only we knew who? And the two older people reflect a very serious approach to having a photo taken! Their faces are quite austere, but maybe the women has a slight whisper of a smile!

So many books to choose from! I like the titles of the ones you chose. I also like all of the ‘for dummies’ books.

Nice blue sky – not a cloud in sight.

Love the chair! Chairs make the best tables, coatracks, bookshelves, laundry baskets…it’s amazing that we ever sit on them at all. Well done. Liked the graduate photos, too. 1908!
