So, on that note I will continue to hold steady at 25. It’s been a wonderful, relaxing, low key day. My boys left earlier for the movies so Keith and I headed out to a local diner for my birthday meal. I was thinking about that clam dinner all day, only to find out that the flats have been closed and they had no clams. Ugh. Stopped at the store and rented a couple movies as it’s just Oliver and I home tonight as Keith has to work. I rented Remember Me and The New Daughter, so it’s time to throw the pajamas on and get comfy.

Hello Friends, and Happy Labor Day to each of you. Here in our home we are having a quiet day at home pulling the house together, a cook out and maybe a few episodes of Season 4…

Keith and I went to the Blue Hill Fair yesterday. Had fun, but again realized it’s just not as fun when you don’t have young children.

Love visiting the farm animals, and thought the Alpacas and pig pile were just too cute!

Today is day five of a heat wave here on the East Coast, and seriously, I think I am melting! 90 degrees is not the typical September weather. Trying not to complain, but it sure is uncomfortable.

Received my name badge this morning, and begin orientating on the floor next week at my new job, four shifts remaining in my present position…

In pictures: Ugh. School begins tomorrow for me as I begin the journey towards my Masters Degree in Nursing. Oliver and Shiva both saw the vet today. $197.00 later, vaccines are all up to date, and Oliver is now sporting a microchip to safeguard him [and to make me feel a little bit safer if he ever ran off during one of our day excursions]. Oliver, Shiva and Pyro trying to survive this heat…and one of the many fans in the house that are unable to keep up with this heat.

Per usual, time is ticking by quickly, and I have to work tonight so I am going to attempt to get a bit of a nap in before I have to hit the road. Until later…
