Christmas in my home, and I owe it all to my beautiful sister for coming over and helping me focus and pull it together. [thank you June, I know you are busy, and I appreciate you helping me out.]
The tree…today Keith and I went shopping together. I wanted to purchase a new tree as the 8foot tree we have had is just too big for us. I decided I wanted a 4 foot tree to put on a stand. When I mentioned it to Keith I noticed he looked at me kind of funny, but off we went. Then he pointed out the 4 foot tree to me…ahhh, yeah, I am not ready for a 4 foot tree just yet. Man, they are small! [remember length and distance means nothing to me] So, we improvised and found a beautiful slimmer 6 foot tree with lights attached [insert sound of angels here!! no fighting with strings of lights...no fighting to take the damn things off!!] I found some adorable cheap ornaments to add and chose to do a silver theme this year. [and yes, that is a cat sleeping under the tree]…
My Willow Tree Nativity. My bestfriend Sharon bought me the Nativity set a number of years ago after a surgery, and today Keith bought me the Creche, Star backdrop, and The Three Wisemen.
What is Christmas? It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace. -Agnes M. Pharo
Until next time. I hope your home is beginning to look a lot like Christmas also…

That’s a beautiful tree! I have a few of those figurines, too. Well, not the Christmas ones, but from that same company. I love them. Happy holidays!
