The days are becoming few, and the countdown has begun. The slate is almost clean, and I am on a mission to embrace 2011 with open arms. I printed out the upcoming year in blank calendars and with pencil in hand I have been writing in appointments, goals, and inspirational quotes. Yeah…it probably won’t last, but it’s the ‘attempt’ that matters.
For 2010 I am going to concentrate on using two books in an attempt to help organize, and simplify…and enjoy my life a little more: Simple Pleasures and One Year to an Organized Life. For me it’s the ‘little things’ that I need to accomplish/finish. I purchased black three ring binders and created a Family, Personal, and Work Binder. As an example the Family binder holds our birth certificates, marriage license, immunizations, important information about our pets, etc…and so on. I need to finish working on these, and organizing them. I also need to update my resume and portfolio.
Needless to say, I have tons of little projects that I want to accomplish, and I am hopeful that twenty-eleven will allow me to be organized enough that I will hopefully get a few of my goals accomplished.
