I look forward to watching A Christmas Story every year. Just ‘one’ of my favorite holiday movies. And this morning I splurged and bought myself the movie.

The Old Man fighting with the furnace, and swearing, triple dog daring Flick to stick his tongue on the frozen pole, Ralphie repeating those swear words in a fit of rage while beating up Scut, Ralphie dreaming about that Red Ryder BB and the adults all telling him he’d shoot an eye out, Randy unable to move after his mother bundles him up so tightly…and the bunny pajamas from Aunt Clara. Many similarities to my childhood and my family…great memories…

Time to watch the movie with my husband.
