Ready or not 2010 is almost behind us. Professionally it was a very challenging year and personally it has been just as challenging. 2010 found me on two different ends of the spectrum professionally: Geriatric Nursing, and Psychiatric Nursing, and personally: my youngest child moved out. Another year of learning and growth, and beside me each step of the way, thankfully, was my husband, children, and close friends. I didn’t accomplish much in relation to all of my personal goals, but thankfully, there’s a new year on its way… Another chance to get it right.
I bet each one of us could think of a million, and one goals-resolutions-hopes-wishes. I know I certainly could, but as I look around and think about the coming of a new year I remind myself of the important things, and the above subway art sign has a number of those ‘little things’ that are sometimes, the most important things. And, I am so thinking that I need one of these signs to hang in my hallway.
