The crocuses are blooming in our yard. What a beautiful sight! A sign that we are that much closer to Spring.
School: We have just entered into Week 3 of our Nursing Informatics class. Another group project has begun, and again, there are a few peers in the group who are not carrying their weight. Frustrating. Stressful. I understand the concept of a group project, the importance of ‘partnership’, but loosing points because of a group project sucks. Doubtful that I will stop complaining about this anytime soon, so if you get tired of my rant, I apologize.
Work: Three nights on and seven off.
Family/Life/Home: I cannot wait until Sunday!! I’ve been working on putting together a day full of family, and surprises.
Etc: Our vet is offering a new service to his clients…online medical records! We are able to go in and upload a photo of our pet, and upload personal information. We are then able to view our pets medical information: vaccines received, lab work, etc. We will also know when our pet is due for an office visit.
A few of the LITTLE things that make me happy…
- watching an old movie with my husband.
- able to begin walking because the snow is melting, and the weather is not frigid.
- being a day ahead on homework requirements.
- surprises!!
- ohhh…did I mention seeing the crocuses blooming in our yard?
And finally, a BIG, LITTLE thing, is the end stages of the kitchen project that was many years in the making. Little things remaining to do, and I am still looking for the perfect pair of tiers for the windows. Above the window will be a shelf to add my vintage kitchen collections on…Here is a post with some Before, and Inprocess Pictures. My husband did the entire project by himself…

More projects and ideas to share in the coming months…until next time, must get my nose into the books and take a nap to prepare for another round of work.

Oh Jenny, I’m not sure which is more beautiful the kitchen or those crocuses popping up! The kitchen is fabulous though. I love my old New England house, but boy are the kitchens tiny and in need of updating. Bathroom first, out of necessity. Hope Sunday comes quickly for you!
