Dragonflies…

I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all. -Laura Ingalls Wilder

All garden decorations were 50% off at Joanns Fabrics yesterday, and I was able to find three of these adorable metal dragonflies, which I added to a plant pot on the back deck.

Still wet, and damp here, and it doesn’t appear that it is going to end anytime soon. I know my flowers, and gardens are grateful for this rain, so I won’t complain…atleast as long as it is not raining Friday morning, as we have plans to finish organizing the cellar, and to work on the front garden.

Changes. Some changes are difficult. Some changes are a must and necessary. Our household has been going thru some changes since our two boys have both moved back home, and we are in the midst of a new change, and I am truly excited…will share when the day arrives.

  • Wish I had a sewing machine. Okay. Having a sewing machine probably would not help me. Wish I knew how to sew!!  Market Bag I can picture using some shabby, vintagey material for this cute tote.
  • Thinking I need to purchase The Waltons on DVD, so I can start at the very beginning. I get such a kick out of grandpa Zeb. What a great actor Will Geer was. Bless him.
  • Wisdom: Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. -Dr. Seuss
  • I think I am ready for another tattoo, and LOVE this tattoo, minus the syringe. Still planning it out to be perfect, for me.

Time has snuck by me, and I need to get a move on for work…

Just because you don’t know how to sew doesn’t mean you can’t get a sewing machine! I have one and I don’t know how to sew very well. get it!
