I wanted to accomplish some garden work today; weed out the front garden, put down a garden edge to help keep the lawn out of the garden, and to put down mulch. And I am happy to say it all got done!

When we purchased our home February 1999, there was originally a huge mess of a rose bush located in front of the sunroom windows. A few years later we opted to dig it up, and planted the above lilac tree in its place. When Keith planted the lilac tree it wasn’t much taller than the basement window, and look at it today….makes me smile everytime I pull into the driveway.

Keith and I visited a few yard sales yesterday morning when I got home from work. Sadly, the yardsales we visited were not the greatest. Here’s the few items I grabbed.
