Every now and then a plan comes together perfect. Doesn’t happen very often, so when it does I am all giddy and it gives me that ompf I need to move onto the next project.

Remember I mentioned that I visited an antique store and bought some vintage maps? Well they were for this project…

So than I moved onto project #2. This is where I will insert [*&^%$]. Because I am measurement challenged after I printed the quote out three times I finally won that battle. Tacking the letters down was not easy [ran out of repositional adhesive, found a replacement but couldn't find the runner it was meant for...ugh]…and up to this photo includes three hours of time invested.

Step 3 will have to wait until tomorrow’s post as I am waiting to add another coat of paint, need to pull off the letters, and do a quick sanding. I seriously think next time I have an idea like this I will pay someone to do it!

For here I need to run along to clean up my messes so we can catch the Memorial Day parade…
