When you love someone, all your saved up wishes start coming out. -Elizabeth Bowen
He sighs when he sees me with my camera. Is known to make funny faces during our self portrait photos. Loves to stick that tongue out much too frequently and as you see makes threatening gestures towards me as I am snapping his picture. He has the most beautiful smile, and laugh and is the most kind hearted and loving man. My three children and myself are truly lucky to have him in our lives. We love you Keith.
Happenings in our home, etc:
-
Our daughter Toni is back home! Keith and Toni will be flying out towards the end of August to North Carolina to unload the storage unit so Keith can drive the u-haul truck home, and Toni will follow him in her vehicle.
-
Our son Reggie is heading to Portland in the morning to take the ASVAB tomorrow and for a military physical on Wednesday as he is in the process of enlisting into the Army. I am scared, nervous, and proud all in one.
-
And…our son Matthew is also in the process of enlisting into the Army.
-
Four day positions have opened at work and I have applied for all four of them. Day positions open very infrequently, and having four available is even more infrequent. Fingers crossed that no one with seniority will put in for them. I truly need to get off the night shift.
-
This is my last week of Topics in Clinical Nursing, grades close on 6/26. Managing a Continuum of Care for Positive Patient Outcomes begins on 6/27. Yeah, this accelerated program is a killer!
I love words, and smiled when I found these words to add to my photo ledge.

New titles in my Kindle; The Gift of Fire: How I Made Adversity Work for Me, How We Got Barb Back, Ain’t No Sunshine, Bringing Adam Home: The Abduction That Changed America, The Healing Touch for Dogs: The Proven Massage Program, and The Nonrunner’s Marathon Guide for Women: Get Off Your Butt and On with Your Training.
Well friends, here’s to a beautiful week ahead of each of us. Until next time…
