One Chapter closed, a new one beginning…

To get through the hardest journey we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping. -Chinese Proverb

Last night I worked my last 12 hr night shift. Eighteen months later I am still walking around in a stupor, and feeling like I am close to death, but alas, I survived, and I begin the day shift tomorrow morning. I am looking forward to visiting the gym after work in hopes of loosing a few more pounds, and toning up this ‘ole body, and really interested in joining in on a sewing class. Honestly, I am just looking forward to having a life, and feeling ‘human’ again.

Week 1 of Managing a Continuum of Care for Positive Patient Outcomes completed. I’ve been working on my Week 2 responsibilities since I woke up this afternoon, and loving this class.

I am exhausted, and ready to get myself situated for bed. I am hopeful that this week I will be able to start on my to-do/wish list of projects, etc. Here’s to a week full of happiness, and accomplishments ahead of us. Until next time…
