Time is what prevents everything from happening at once. -John Archibald Wheeler
Another week behind us, and not quite sure where it went to. Apple picking, a day trip, suffering three days with a toothache, pulling the house together, homework, work, homework, work…oh, did I mention homework, and work? Life is just too busy sometimes…and time continues to speed up and pass like a whirlwind…and in twenty days my son leaves for basic training…[oh oh, I better not go any further or I will start crying (again)].
Keith and I went apple picking, and purchased pumpkins for the front stairs. Had a fun morning. Of course I did more supervising and pointing to the good looking apples than actual picking [I tend to have more apples land on the ground than in the apple picker basket thingy].
A daytrip to Hallowell so Keith could put some of his paintings in a show. I always love visiting Hallowell as it is such a charming little town.
Last month I mentioned that I’d been Smurfed , not sure how long the second one has been there but it appears they are multiplying…
Yesterday was a whirlwind in our house. The boys, and Keith all jumped in and helped me pull the house back together, as it has been pretty much upside down. Between my work schedule, another round of a fibro flare that appears to not want to end, exhaustion, and trying to keep up with my school responsibilities saying that I have been slacking would be an understatement!
Finally yesterday afternoon the five of us were able to have a family picture done. I’m not really happy/satisfied with the pictures, but arranging for the five of us to be at one place at the same moment is a difficult feat due to work schedules. Unfortunately it was too late notice to find a photographer like I had wanted to, but thankfully we ended up with the last open appointment at Sears.
Well friends, that alarm clock goes off much too early and I have to attempt to read a chapter, or two in my textbook before I call it a night. So for here, here’s to a beautiful week ahead of us, filled with good stuff.
