Even if something is left undone, everyone must take time to sit still and watch the leaves turn. -Elizabeth Lawrence
Another week has passed me by, and October has snuck up on me, much too soon. Keith and I went on a daytrip to Boothbay Harbor this week, and had a great day together.
I found out that a company had a piece representing my hospital and finally yesterday I stopped at the local gift store that carries them to find out that the company originally had 110 contracts thru out the state, and now, due to the economy only has 2 contracts remaining with gift stores, thus the company is downsizing hugely and this is the last Bangor State Hospital piece.
I also decided to pick up the piece representing Bucksport High School as all three of my children, and Keith graduated from the school.
I came home from work the other day and Keith brought it to my attention that Amazon had announced the Kindle Fire. I have preordered it, along with the pink cover, and cannot wait for its arrival. New books that I’ve added to my Kindle; Climbing the Broken Stairs, a memoir, The Paris Wife: A Novel, and The End of Boys.
Unfortunately it appears that this is going to be a wet weekend. Wishing I could just be lazy and watch old movies all weekend. On that note, I need to get myself moving…
