‘Our’ end of Summer

Daytrips,Everyday Life | Sunday 2 September 2012 8:17 pm

Technically there are still a number of weeks remaining of summer, but our summer has always come to an end after the Blue Hill Fair concludes for another year, and school begins a new session. I am sad to see another summer over, but as always, I love the beauty of Autumn and look forward to it.

Sadly the rain didn’t hold out, but we were prepared so it was okay. We are pretty predictable. Keith gets an italian sausage, and I get a doughboy.

  • Reggie arrived in Louisiana today for a few weeks of training to prepare him for deployment in November. They were leaving Georgia at 0130 this morning so I am sure he has had a full day and is pretty tired.
  • I have made my way to the fourth book of the Outlander series, Drums of Autumn. I am loving this series!

On that note I believe it is time to head upstairs and read for a few mintues. Here’s to a great week ahead of us. Until next time…
