Christmas Eve finds Keith, and I home with the animals as the kids both had to work today. It is almost 7:05 tomorrow morning in Afghanistan. I pray my son has a wonderful Christmas…
Keith created a lovely Christmas Eve meal of filet mignon with chive butter, asparagus, and asiago and chive stuffed baby red potatoes. Absolutely delicious.

Day 24: Attend Church
Because I have found myself blubbering at times today, I asked Keith if we could cancel our plans of attending church tonight. Blubbering at home in front of the animals, and my husband, are one thing, blubbering in front of people I do not know because I am missing my son is another thing…

I pray your Christmas will be beautiful as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

Until next time…

Good Morning, Jenny,
Merry Christmas to you and your family. I will keep your son in my prayers. I am relating a bit, as both our girls are far away, and Amy’s husband is also deployed. Miss them all like crazy!
I hope you have a chance to relax and enjoy some time for yourself during the busy holiday season!
Take care, ~Natalie
