Welcome to my little Art STudio located in Bucksport, Maine.

My Art STudio is located in our sunroom off our livingroom. The 8×12 size, and limited wall space due to its 7 windows have had some disadvantages, but I’ve grown to love, and appreciate my little space over the years.

We are in the process of putting our home on the market to move closer to my work as the 1 and 1/2 hour drive one way is becoming more difficult for me. I am not sure if I will be able to have a complete room of my own when we leave our home behind, so I am downsizing considerably, and trying to focus on what I truly need to ‘create’, and a ‘few’ items that make me ‘happy’ and have an important meaning to me.  

I probably should mention in my diningroom there is an antique steamer trunk, and an antique armoire filled to the rim with more scrapbook goodies.

…my newest addition found via Craigs List, an antique Library Card Catalog Cabinet, the owner told me it is from Allenstown, PA and had been in storage for a number of years prior to his purchasing it…

…Isabella, an antique dress form that I practically stole from an antique store [ie: I couldn't afford the price and asked the owner if the price negotiable...it sure was, and she practically gave her to me!]

And seriously, my Art STudio is NEVER this clean! My work table was so cluttered I must admit that some of the junk is still sitting on top of my diningroom table, and I have no idea what to do with it.

THings I need/want, to put the finishing touches on my Art STudio:

• Thinking a dozen vintage wire locker baskets will make me very, very happy!! Especially hoping for the number 222 and 003.
• Pottery Barns Floor Standing Photo Carousel, we won’t mention that I had it in my cart, fell asleep, and by time I woke up and went back in to pay it was sold out last week!
• Keep Calm and Carry On…because we all need a reminder to relax…
• A handful of these charming Hoosier Jars along with a handful of some beautiful Hobnail pieces.
• I love vintage Head Vases, and wish I had the small collection that my Nannie had. So, my new collection is going to be these charming ladies…

It’s been a long day. Worked all night, then after work this morning headed down to Portland with my youngest boy, sister and her friend and came home with this beautiful piece of furniture…a Vintage Library Card Catalog Cabinet.

I am so excited to store a lot of my scrapbooking/rubberstamp goodies inside of it. I am so happy with the way my STudio is coming together…now, if only I had the time to scrapbook/rubberstamp. I have a list of a few more antique items that I want/need, and hoping to find them soon!!

Well, I just wanted to share my new ‘lovey’! I’m going to run along to do some more organizing in my STudio. More pictures to come soon. Have a wonderful weekend friends!!

Hey friends! I’m still here, and missing the activity on my blog. I want to say I’ll get back to my daily, [or almost daily] posts, but right now I am not sure I can say it, let alone think it. I’m about to begin another 6 night stretch tonight, and I know that sleep will over take my life and plans.

So, here’s to some Thursday afternoon ramblings, ya’ll ready?

• The countdown is on for Ali’s A Week In Your Life, begins April 19th.
• Counting down until my Scrapbox is delivered. Wonder how I can pick up some more hours at work to speed this process up?
• Keith has been building me a tall cupboard for the kitchen and is almost finished, I’ll share pictures shortly.
• 2nd garbage patch seen in the Atlantic Ocean this is just disheartening, and scary.
• I have forgotten how much I adore Kolette Hall and need to make/find the time to visit her blog everyday.

Interested in a Cartidge swap? My cartridges have all been linked to my Gypsy. I do not care if your cartidges have been linked to your Gypsy. Cartridges that I have: Stamped, Opposites Attract, Mini Monograms, Going Places, Printing Press, 50 States, Sweethearts, George and Basic Shapes.

I love vintage photos, and I love finding images of two boys and a girl [which are not common finds].

I thought this little girl was so darling I had to give her a home.

Hey Friends, I’m here, kinda.

I’m working 6 days this week, tonight will be my 3rd in a row, one off, then 3 on. No time to be tired!

My to-do list is not faring well…but, my savings account to order the Workbox is looking good. Anyone wanna come over and help me wipe out my to-do list, feel free to stop in.

Time for shower and hit the road…talk to you tomorrow sometime.
